beyond the mind


humans huddled in cramped bungalows and ranchers

rodeo-ed in by electricity aging humans

over glossy wood artificial hands dangle

mouths agape sick pale blue light

stew drips from blistered lips

in the dead night only one is left

in the living room barely breathing

slimy gray nose hairs drooping

parting blood vessels throb giant inhuman

faces digital streams into mind

thoughts seep out the screen

beyond the wind one last time

About Sean William Lynch
Sean William Lynch is a poet from New Jersey who was born in 1992. Lynch's first book of poems "the city of your mind" was published in 2013 by Whirlwind Press. Frank Sherlock, the poet laureate of Philadelphia, called Lynch's debut poetry book "visionary." CA Conrad claimed that the book was "marvelous!" S.W.     Great writing, but Sean, when your happy ending finally comes, you’ve got your best seller. People of the World, did you hear that? Buy Sean’s book. You’ll be buying money. It will be a collector’s item some day. I have no interest in this except for a love of Literature.
